December Update!

Hey, everyone! Sorry for the larger-than-usual gap in updates; Nikki and I had a sudden ComiCons surge with San Diego and LA Comicons back-to-back, and that caused an absolute crater in our usual work schedule. We are back now, and working on the final leg of this campaign's fulfillment.

That is now scheduled to dock the first week of January. There were apparently a lot of delays out of China, which we expected, but then far more than we expected. The games just sort of sat there for weeks as the factory tried to arrange for them to get onto a ship.

Those will begin fulfilling in January as well, as the fulfillment partner there has already closed for the holidays.
I hope to get the vessel information for the UK/EU games today, and will post in the comments to this update.
There is a lot going on with this game and its future, and we are excited about its growth after showing it to so many new people at conventions, which will continue into next year and beyond.

October Update

Hey, everyone!
Just stopping by to let you all know these are finally being loaded onto the ships.
That means we are now at the mercy of the toddler with floaties who pulls those ships to their destinations, and the ports that welcome those toddlers.
Against some increasingly bad odds, it looks like you will all actually have these this year before the holidays.
We are launching the next team, Gatefall: Monsters late next month to time it with our appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego and ComiCon Los Angeles the following week. Our plan is to run the campaign long enough for anyone here who has not had a chance to try the game to receive their games and make a decision about whether or not they want more. For North Woods, everything printed fine with no complications on the minis or anything. Everything looks great except for how long production took.
Drop any questions you have here, and I will get to them as quickly as possible.

SEPTEMBER UPDATE!

Hey, everyone!
First of all, and very importantly: There is a LOT coming for Gatefall. I am now looking at many additions to the fighters and components that may not always launch as part of a crowdfunding campaign because there are so many (though they will be offered as add-ons in campaigns). We get a lot of messages from people wishing they had better notification about new releases. So by far the best way to make sure you get some notice when new things happen in Gatefall is to sign up for the newsletter at the top of GrimRabbit.com. We will announce every new fighter and team there, every promotion and release of any kind, and every planned campaign. That way none of you will miss anything.
NOW ABOUT THE NORTH WOODS:
The factory contacted me this morning to let me know assembly is finishing and they are preparing shipment. So that toddler with floaties is about to start pulling that ship to America (and a few other ships to other countries for international backers). We expect the shipping container shortage to still be a huge problem before the games can be loaded onto that ship, and the insane backlog at US ports will almost certainly mean this ship will sit at anchor for a few weeks before even being allowed to dock. Fortunately, US Customs has been very fast at clearing things once they do dock. So one of the hurdles is at least manageable.
With all of that in mind, I would expect these games to start arriving at your homes in late December, unless holiday congestion makes the aforementioned problems even worse. I will of course keep you updated every step of the way.
I am about to lock addresses and charge cards in BackerKit, so please be sure your addresses there are correct.

MONSTER SNEAK PEAK (PART THREE)!

Hey, everyone! Check out the latest art for the Monsters team! We are still sorting out how they will be packaged and sold, and which team they will face, if any. We may end up releasing them as a standalone expansion in the next campaign along with two new Fantasy Characters and two new Post-Apocalyptic characters. You've already seen one of each (Rhen and John Henry). That's a LOT of new sculpts, and adding a whole other team to that campaign would be bananas.
Hope you are all doing well, and I hope to have more news about the North Woods production soon.

CHAPTER TWO (RE)TEASER

Hey, everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know that this monster of a year had plenty of drawbacks for manufacturing and shipping, but it also gave us an opportunity to focus on the future of this game and take more time to get some things right.
Case in point: Chapter Two is now getting a bit of an overhaul. And I am so excited about this overhaul that I could not even wait for the render to finish on what I am about to show you.
I would like to introduce you all to the new Monsters team from Chapter Two:
These new The Monster and Dracula sculpts bring this team together perfectly. I hope you are as excited about them as I am. Well, that's probably not possible. So at least half as excited.
There is also an update coming for their opponents, but that's another story, and will be told another time.
I look forward to hearing the stories about The Drowned Warrior getting his tentacle around Dracula.
This campaign will be launching very soon after North Woods fulfills.
Speaking of The North Woods, everything is still moving along at the factory, and there are no new reports. We will be charging your cards in BackerKit next month, and you have until late next month to change your address if you move.
